One event. Six tools. No overview.
Ticketing in one tool, invitations in another, the attendee list in a spreadsheet, the invoice typed by hand. We put event management where your CRM already is — so one event leaves behind one record instead of six.
Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys · Ambit Group, Microsoft partner
What does that mean for your event year?
Five inputs, one number you can take to the board.
Heute: —
Model assumptions, not measured values: 30 to 50 percent less administration time because double entry disappears, plus up to 8 percentage points on the share with payment. For attendance: a blended no-show rate of 35 percent and a 10 to 20 percent relative reduction.
Six steps, six systems — or one
Every step hands over to another tool. Every handover is a place where a contact gets typed in again.
An event is the most expensive contact your marketing creates. It should not end in a spreadsheet.
From idea to number in three steps
No big-bang project. You see early whether this holds up.
Establish the baseline
Which tools are in play, where the same contact is entered twice, what happens after an event.
Workshop: target picture and business case
The portal decision, the finance handover — and a number you can take to the board.
Pilot with one real event
Measured against administration hours, no-show rate and leads created.
Your starting point decides
Four situations we meet most often. One of them is probably yours.
Marketing and events
Twenty events a year, and not one of them can be attached to a number.
Associations
Members, registrations and invoices in three systems that never agree.
Education
Courses, open evenings, graduations — every series has grown its own tool.
Non-profits and IT
Every event tool wants its own contact database — and its own data protection review.

Where each piece belongs
Consolidating does not mean one product for everything. Every fact gets one place where it is true.
Dataverse
Contacts, events, registrations, passes, attendance history — the store your CRM already uses.
Customer Insights
Planning, registration, communication, follow-up. Outward facing as a Power Pages portal, an embedded form or your own domain.
Billing and finance processes
Customer Insights produces the billing-relevant information. It goes to the responsible finance system, directly or via Power Automate. Reconciliation and dunning belong in the finance system.
Expensive — and nobody can prove it
Three findings that describe the same gap.
of event leaders get at their event data easily. 56 percent name post-event ROI as their biggest frustration.
of registrations never show up — across 33'786 webinar sessions and over 7 million registrations.
of CMOs consider their events successful — while about half of the event teams themselves do.
If nobody knows afterwards who was there, the event was for nothing.
